ENATE has spectacular and beautiful origins. The history and culture of which it forms part is universal and transcends mankind's most intimate desires by respecting and loving nature and obtaining the marvellous products it has to offer. From the beginning, therefore, our cellars are rooted in a native culture with surprising aspects and fine touches. Our main purpose is to produce the best products with the finest fruit of the land, respecting skills passed down throngh the ages and making use of the highest technology.

ENATE defines itself as a winery for the 21st century. An aseptic and functional residence for wine, which has got nothing to do with the dark subterranean image that has mould and humidity as its main characteristics. It seems our modern era has better allies in design and form. The winery is laid out with geometric precision. Its design repeats a rhythm of straight lines and edges and ignores any curved line. They are exclusively reserved for the barrels in which the wine ages. The architect has instantly captured the intense luminosity of the area and has transformed it into the spacious interior in such a way that you always retain the sensation of being outside in the sunlight. In this building this might be the best example of the play between nature and architecture.

Since the beginning it has been art. A clear and decided bet on the language of our time because we are protagonists of this period we are living and not mere spectarors. Each bottle of ENATE is a sculpture of Contemporary Art. Painters such as Antonio Saura, Eduardo Chillida, Antoni Tàpies,  José Beulas, Salvador Victoria, Vicente Badenes, José Manuel Broto, Víctor Mira, Pepe Cerdá, Alberto Carrera, Frederic Amat, Eduardo Arroyo, Mapi Ribera, Alberto Duce, Camen P. Ramírez, Gustavo Torner, Vicente García Plana, José María Subirachs have collaborated in our labels. The artistic patrimony of ENATE grows with the acquisition of works by the old masters and by young artists who have participated in the Enate Award. ENATE -EnArte- could not be conceived without the collaboration and the ideas of the new creators. Art and Wine. Contents and Container. All in the same bottle, in a same object of desire.
