The wine is dark ruby-violet in color.
Taste:
The taste of the wine is round, soft, with notes of raspberry, cherry, spices and cedar, balanced acidity and pleasant tannins in a restrained finish.
Aroma:
The wine exhibits a complex aroma woven from notes of blackberry, blueberry, damp earth and spice.
Gastronomy:
The wine goes well with cold cuts, grilled meats, cheeses and juicy fruits.
Interesting Facts
Ceres wine is produced by one of the most famous Bordeaux chateaus - Chateau Haut-Bages Liberal from Pauillac and is named after the Roman goddess of agriculture and fertility. The Merlot grapes grow on an eight-hectare plot that is certified organic. After fermentation, the wine is aged for 12 months (one third in oak barrels).
