Chateau Citran is among the top most popular Bordeaux samples, from year to year confirms the status of one of the best wines of the classification of Cru Bourgeois. Citran Castle was built in the 13th century. Today, the farm belongs to the Merlot-Villard family. In recent years, wine is made from 3 varieties - Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. After fermentation, the wine is aged in oak barrels for a year and a half, and has a great storage potential - up to 15 years.
