Interesting Facts
Chateau Fontenil is a wine from the collection of the famous winemaker Michel Rolland, about whom they say that "no one can work with Merlot better than him". The wine is made from traditional Bordeaux grape varieties: Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. The harvest is carried out manually, at a time when the berries reach the optimal degree of ripeness. The harvested crop is carefully sorted and separated from the ridges, then pressed and fermented in stainless steel vats at a strictly controlled temperature. After that, the wine is aged for about 12 months in French oak barrels.
