Interesting Facts
The grapes for the production of Château Lafon-Rocher wine are hand-picked from vines that are over 30 years old. First, the berries undergo cold maceration for 1-3 days, and then fermentation begins, which lasts about 10 days in vats and stainless steel. The temperature does not exceed 30 °C. Aging for 15-20 months takes place in barrels made of French and Austrian oak, 50% of which are renewed annually.
