Interesting Facts
Chateau Langoa Barton is a dry red wine, which is a traditional Bordeaux blend - Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Magnificent gravel plots are located close to the river. Grapes grown in the traditional way without the use of hybicides are harvested in late September and early October, when they reach optimum ripeness. The berries are peeled from the ridges, carefully sorted, carefully pressed and placed in wooden containers equipped with temperature controllers. Grapes from each site are vinified separately. Alcoholic fermentation lasts 7-10 days; maceration - about 3 weeks. The wine matures for 16-18 months in French oak barrels (of which 60% are new).
