Interesting Facts
Chateau Le Bon Pasteur is a blend of two varieties: Merlot, which gives the wine flexibility and sophistication, and Cabernet Franc, which gives the drink bright fruitiness and softness. The harvest is carried out only by hand at a time when the berries reach the optimum degree of ripeness. The grapes are carefully sorted and separated from the ridges, then fermented in stainless steel vats at a strictly controlled temperature. After that, the wine is aged for 15-18 months in French oak barrels, 2/3 of which are new.
