Interesting Facts
Château Pichon Longueville Comtesse de Lalande is an exquisite wine, each vintage of which is a true work of wine art. Pichon Comtesse is a neighbor of Chateau Latour and, like the famous Premier Cru, has a soil of gravel mixed with clay, which benefits from excellent drainage. Vinification took place in 70 temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, which varied in size, starting from 50 hectoliters and increasing to 70, 80, 120 and even 150 hectoliters. Malolactic fermentation also took place in tanks. The wine was aged in oak barrels (50% new) for 18 months.
