Interesting Facts

La Dame de Montrose is the second wine of Chateau Montrose, first released in 1986 and dedicated to the mother of the owner of the estate, Yvonne Charmolue. The wine is made from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc grapes. The harvest is carried out manually from late September to mid-October. Before pressing, the collected berries undergo careful selection. After fermentation and malolactic fermentation for 3 weeks, the wine is aged in oak barrels (15% new) for 12 months.
