This bourbon gets its classic texture and sweet flavor from the freshwater springs of the limestone shelf that runs through the Southern United States. The whiskey is aged in oak barrels for more than 3 years. The story of the wild boar that is reflected on the labels of this bourbon originates on a family corn farm in Kentucky. Wild boars often wandered around the area at night and feasted on ripe golden corn on the farm. In honor of these connoisseurs of quality corn, the distillery acquired its name - ‘Hogs’ (“boar”).
