Interesting Facts
Chateau Marquis d'Alesme is the flagship wine of the Marquis d'Alesme estate. This cuvée is created from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Petit Verdot grapes grown in the third-class Grand Cru plots of the Margaux appellation. Carefully hand-picked grapes undergo traditional vinification. Fermentation takes place in concrete tanks under controlled temperature conditions. The wine is aged in oak barrels, 60% of which are new, for 15 months.
