Château Palmer is located in the Margaux appellation in the Bordeaux region. The wine produced here is one of fourteen wines that earned the Troisiemes Crus qualification in the famous Medoc Wine Classification of 1885. In 2004, the shareholders of Chateau Palmer nominated the young oenologist Thomas Duru for the position of managing director.
