Interesting Facts

The estate's main wine, the eponymous "Chateau Petit Village", is made from a harmonious blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. The average age of the vines is 30 years. Fermentation takes place for 15 days in concrete vats covered with epoxy resin at a temperature of 29-30 °C. Maceration takes from 21 to 26 days. After malolactic fermentation in barriques, the wine is aged for 15 months in oak barrels, 60% of which are new.
