Interesting Facts

The grapes for Kedungu are harvested from plots planted between 1988 and 2001. The three varieties were fermented whole bunches individually in a closed vat. Syrah was infused for 14 days on the skin, while the other two varieties underwent a short fermentation for 8 days. The resulting wines were mixed and then placed in neutral French barrels of 225 and 500 liters. In them, the wine remained for 9 months, after which it was aged for another month in stainless steel tanks before being bottled with a small addition of sulfites.
