Interesting Facts
The vineyards are located at an altitude of 1000 meters above sea level, in the Paraje Altamira appellation. The grapes are harvested earlier than usual. Fermentation takes place exclusively with natural yeast. Afterwards, the wine is aged in oak barrels of the second filling for 12 months and bottled without filtration. Les Calcaires is an expression of the Cabernet Franc variety from an ideal terroir: high altitude and calcareous soils.
