Fredi Torres

Fredy Torres was born into a family of farmers and fishermen in Galicia. He spent most of his life working in Switzerland, where he excelled in management positions and as a DJ. However, over time, Fredy decided to return to his roots and studied viticulture and winemaking. After training in Burgundy, Argentina and South Africa, he returned to Catalonia, where he founded the Sao del Coster brand with Swiss partners. Later, in 2011, Fredy acquired 8.5 hectares of land in the Priorat region and founded his own project in collaboration with his friend, Antoni Tuton. In all his projects, Fredy adheres to the principles of organic and biodynamics. His key goal is to preserve the style of Spanish wines of the "Old Wave".
