Pallini Limoncello

In 1851, Nicola Pallini was born in Civitella del Tronto, into a modest family of farmers. At the age of 15, he began working as a traveling merchant in the markets of Marche and Abruzzo, specializing in the sale of fabrics and chestnuts. Thanks to his tenacity and determination, Nicola became a rich merchant at the age of 20. He moved to the small town of Antrodoco, located on the border of Lazio and Abruzzo, which, however, is connected by rail to central Italy, which will allow Pallini to expand his trade. In 1875, Nicola, having an enviable social position and economic stability, married Concetta Egidi. At one of the celebrations, Nicola served the guests lemon liqueur made by his wife. One of the guests jokingly said: "You have so much delicious limoncello that you could put it up for sale, although I'm afraid there will be nothing left after I leave." Nicola Pallini seriously thought about selling the lemon liqueur, because, indeed, everyone liked this liqueur without exception. This is how the history of the Antica Casa Pallini company began. After some time, the Pallini sons joined the family business. In 1922, Virgilio Pallini decided to move the business to the heart of Italy - Rome. Over the course of many decades, the company grew and developed, and the Pallini logo became a symbol of high quality and professionalism in the world of liqueurs. In 2010, to celebrate the 135th anniversary of the company, the fifth generation of the Pallini family released a new product - Sambuca 313.
