Alexandre Bonnet
In 1934, Lucien Noble began growing his first vines. He shared his enthusiasm with subsequent generations until 1970, when Serge Bonnet, with the assistance of Alain and Rene, founded Domaine Alexandre Bonnet, which is the largest recoltan in Champagne with 65 hectares of vineyards on its property.
The team is now in the capable hands of Arnaud Fabre, who maintains this shared dedication of the Les Riceys winemakers to love and discover the exceptional characteristics of this incredible terroir.
The village is located in the far reaches of the Lagne Valley, on the border of the Côte des Bars between Champagne and Burgundy. The hilly slopes arose during the Jurassic period; winegrowers have patiently tended its vineyards for centuries. Her reputation is unique.
Les Riceys is the most popular cru in the Côte des Bars, and its Pinot Noir is available in three AOCs: Champagne, Coteaux Champenois and Rosé des Riceys. Domaine Alexandre Bonnet has become a symbol and emblem of this unique terroir.
