Enrico Serafino

Enrico Serafino is a family winery founded in 1878. Twenty-three-year-old Enrico Serafino, a pasta producer from Romano Canavese, moved to Canale, the heart of Roero, to fulfill his dream: “to produce luxurious white, red, sparkling wines from the best vineyards of the Piedmont region.”

The Enrico Serafino winery was born from a combination of strong will and great courage, inspired by a love for wines. Barolo, Barbaresco and traditional sparkling wines such as Asti were among the first wines released. The cellar is now the oldest in operation in the area and is located in the old buildings that housed it for over 140 harvests. The Krause Gentile family took over the winery in 2015, continuing the legacy of Enrico Serafino.
