Caldirola

The history of the Caldirola winery began in 1897 with a small rural osteria in the commune of Missaglia, north of Milan. Today, the company's headquarters are located here. By the end of the 1940s, Ferdinando Caldirola, together with his son Gaetano, turned the osteria into a large wine trading center. In the 1960s, Gaetano began bottling Piedmontese and Lombard wines under his own name. In the 1970s, the Gattinara winery in the province of Vercelli became part of Caldirola's permanent production infrastructure. Here, the company's wines undergo a natural fermentation process. Today, the product line includes almost all regions of southern Italy - from Piedmont to Tuscany, from Sicily to Abruzzo.
