Chevrillon

Bellonnie & Bourdillon Successeurs (BBS) was founded in 1923, when the Belloni brothers acquired the La Mauny estate, which today is one of their three most famous brands of rum from Martinique, including Trois Rivieres, La Mauny and Duquesne. In 1970, the Bourdillon family became new partners in the company. Thanks to these popular brands, in 1996 the French Ministry of Agriculture created a separate appellation AOC Rhum Agricole de Martinique, guaranteeing the origin and quality of local products. Each brand has its own territory, factories, as well as character and history.

In 2012, the French investment group Chevrillon acquired BBS, which today has a turnover of 30 million euros. The goal of the new owner is to make BBS one of the leading producers of spirits in France.
