Brano Pajer and Rory O’Donnell were intrigued by the ever-growing global success of the Irish whiskey industry as the fastest growing spirits category in the world. Michael Morris, an Irish whiskey veteran with over 30 years’ experience in the industry, also played a role and in 2020 found like-minded individuals in Brano and Rory – independent and fearless businessmen with a clear vision of what success could look like in a highly competitive environment. The idea of creating an independent Irish whiskey company, capable of sourcing and bottling the island’s finest sources, was taking shape and as the business plan was formed, the word ‘flexibility’ became the watchword. The signature blended whiskey was the foundation and over time this was expanded to include single malts and Pot Stills, unique to Ireland.
