Daniel Leclerc
The Daniel Leclerc winery is located in the heart of the Champagne region, specifically in the picturesque Côte de Bar in Polisso. The winery was founded in the 1960s, when the Leclerc family planted their first vineyards. Today, the winery is managed by the founder's descendants, who preserve and develop the traditions and knowledge of their ancestors. The winery's hallmark is its commitment to traditional winemaking methods combined with modern technology to produce the highest quality champagne. The vineyards cover approximately 7.5 hectares and are distinguished by deep limestone soils, which impart a distinctive minerality to the wines.
The wines are aged in the cellar for over 30 months before release, an essential guarantee of quality and respect for the Champagne appellation. A hallmark of the Daniel Leclerc house is its minimal dosage, even for its base wines: 4 grams for the base brut and 1.5 grams for the rosé!
