Domaines Henri Maire

Domaines Henri Maire owns 225 hectares of vineyards in the Jura region, covering a total of 1,800 hectares. The vineyards cultivate both indigenous grape varieties (Poulsard, Trousseau, and Savagnin) and some more well-known varieties (Pinot Noir and Chardonnay). In 1939, Henri Maire inherited 2.6 hectares of vineyards. Through a series of reorganizations and acquisitions, he gradually built an estate of over 300 hectares, producing the region's finest wines. Henri Maire is rightfully considered the man who revived the Jura region. Today, the Boisset family, another winemaking dynasty, ensures this legacy continues, modernizing and opening up Domaines Henri Maire to the world while respecting its pristine heritage.
