Viader
Celler Viader is the personal adventure of Eduard Viader, whose family line of doctors and pharmacists, who settled in Sant Sadurní d'Anoia in 1823, runs through his veins. They left behind an invaluable legacy of winemaking knowledge, passed down through generations of winegrowers and winemakers in the Penedès region.
Eduard Viader, an agricultural engineer by profession, at the age of 21 turned to traditional methods and the legacy of his ancestors to create the first Viader Cava in 2009.
For over ten years, Eduard gradually sought his own style in the heart of Sant Sadurní d'Anoia. In 2018, he discovered an old abandoned farmhouse surrounded by vineyards near Espiels—an estate known as Can Rossell de la Llena. By September 2021, Eduard had already begun producing his first wines there.
