Covides

The Covides company was founded in 1964 and is currently considered a key cooperative in Catalonia. According to 2016 data, Covides occupied the 6th place in the list of the largest producers of sparkling wines DO Cava, as well as the 2nd largest producer of still wines DO Cava. Despite its considerable volume, all products are produced 100% from their own harvest, i.e. from their own 2,300 hectares. Covides controls 8% of the DO Cava vineyards in Catalonia, which greatly affects the competitiveness of their products. 35% of the production is consumed on the local market, and the remaining 65% is exported to more than 50 countries.

The widest range of products made makes this supplier one of the fastest growing in Catalonia: still white, red, pink, semi-dry, barrel, Cava brut, semi-dry, reserve and rose.
