Brand

The Brand brothers, Daniel and Jonas, briefly drew attention to the distant northern Palatinate, this cool, limestone-rich climate. Bockenheim has a cooler climate than most of the Palatinate (therefore grapes ripen more slowly here). The weather in Bockenheim is influenced by the Donnersberg mountain (about 650 m), which protects the vineyards from bad weather. The farm owns only 18 hectares, 12 of which are located on the Bockenheim-Sonnenberg hill.
Key grape varieties - Riesling, Weisburgunder (Pinot Blanc), Sylvaner,
Müller-Thurgau, Dornfelder and Pinot Noir. The vines are between 20 and 80 years old.
The vineyards of the farm have been certified organic since 2011. No sulfur is used in the production of wine, the wines are not filtered and reflect the terroir as much as possible.
