Masia de la Roqua

Masia de la Roqua is a family-owned winery located in an old 12th century mansion, the name translates as "farmhouse on top of a cliff".
The Camps family, the owners of the mansion, have been engaged in winemaking since the 16th century. as recorded in the ownership statement. The farm is currently owned by John Camps. John has worked in two of the most famous wine regions - Bordeaux and Burgundy - in the prestigious wineries Jean-Pierre Moueix and Domaine Pierre Morey
And in 2012 he gave new life to Masia de la Roqua, starting to produce his own wine, following the principles of natural winemaking.
And, of course, his first wine was 100% Sumolle from old vineyards.

Masia de la Roqua is a producer of natural wine, works in an organic approach, the vineyards have an eco-certificate.
“My goal is to reflect as much as possible all the originality and uniqueness of the Garraf area in wine, so I prefer to interfere with the process as little as possible so that the terroir manifests itself in the grapes.” - Jot Camps.
