Chateau Gloria
Henri Martin, owner of Château Gloria, the famous mayor of Saint-Julien and Grand Master of the Médoc Order of the Commanderie du Bontemps, was one of the legendary men of the Médoc. He assembled the Gloria estate from pieces of land bought from neighboring Cru Classe and created a Bordeaux wine that is aged not in 225-liter barriques but in 7,000-liter barrels, thanks to which it has a very generous fruitiness, but less pronounced oak shade than the wines of its neighbors. Under the management of his son-in-law, Jean-Louis Triot, nothing has changed radically. The volume of Chateau Gloria is 200,000 bottles of wine.
