Chateau Beauregard

The history of Château Beauregard began in the 11th century, when it belonged to the Order of the Knights of Malta. The magnificent Château building, which has survived to this day, was built in 1795 by a student of Victor Louis, the famous architect who designed the Grand Théâtre in Bordeaux. The Château is famous not only for its architecture, but also for its landscape, the terraces and gardens of which give this place a poetic and magical character. The revival of Château Beauregard began in 1991, after its acquisition by Crédit Foncier. The ambitious winemaker Vincent Prioux became the manager of the Château. The investor carried out an extensive program to restore the vineyards and drain the soil, as well as renovate and re-equip the winery and cellars for aging wines. All this contributed to the revival of the glory of Château Beauregard wines.
