Fattoria le Pupille
The Fattoria le Pupille winery is located in Maremma, on the southern part of the Tuscan coast, washed by the Tyrrhenian Sea and surrounded by gentle hills facing Monte Amiata. Here, in 1985, Elisabetta Geppetti began to take care of a small family business, creating wines that reflect the lands of this region, so dear to her since childhood. Elisabetta is also known by the nickname Lady of Morellino, not only because she is a producer of wines from this region, but also because she was the first president of the Consortium for the Protection of Morellino di Scansano. She has contributed greatly to the recognition of Maremma wines throughout the world.
Today, Elisabetta is supported in the management of the winery by two of her five children, Clara and Ettore, full of energy and determination to realize new dreams and projects of the estate. The estate consists of 450 hectares, of which 85 hectares are occupied by vineyards, 20 hectares by olive groves and 18 hectares by hazelnuts. Le Pupille boasts a production of around 450,000 bottles a year, which can be found all over the world.
