Maison Ventenac

The Maison Ventenac vineyards, covering 160 hectares (30 hectares leased), are located near Montagne Noire, in the commune of Cabardès (Languedoc). Here, at the intersection of ocean and Mediterranean winds, there is a unique terroir that gives birth to equally unique wines. The local soils were formed more than 50 million years ago and are white limestone, which gives the local wines amazing minerality and a refreshing taste.

The harvest at Maison Ventenac takes place at night, in cool weather. Concrete vats are used for aging red wines. White wines are aged in large old oak foudres. All this helps to preserve the true essence of the local terroir, without hiding anything.

“I have always sought to show the consumer all the charm and potential of Languedoc wines, through authentic and vibrant wines. These complex and incredibly interesting wines are a true expression of the Cabardès terroir” - Olivier Ramet.
