Dupuy

The House of Dupuis has been named after its founder since its foundation in 1852. At the beginning of the 20th century, it was bought by two partners, Peter Rustad and Thomas Bache-Gabrielsen. Having imbued themselves with the long-standing traditions of the house, they have completely preserved its style and direction of activity. Today, Bache-Gabrielsen ranks sixth in the world in terms of sales, while 20 years ago only 2,000 bottles were sold in Norway. Today, this figure is a staggering 1,300,000 bottles. The amazing growth is the result of the management's initial close attention to the quality of drinks, which allowed them to create a positive image of the products.

Currently, the business is run by Thomas Bache-Gabrielsen's great-grandson, Hervé. As a child, he took part in production - he helped to cork bottles. Having received an economic education, Hervé returned to the company in 2003, where his father is still the chairman of the board. Hervé developed his own marketing strategy, which helped the house adapt to changes in the international cognac market, which is looking to attract younger consumers.
