Interesting Facts
The wine is made from a blend of four grape varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. The harvest is hand-picked. At the winery, the grapes undergo another selection. Cold maceration and alcoholic fermentation take place in steel and cement vats for 3-4 weeks at constant temperature control (30-32°C). During the vinification process, the wine is aged in oak barrels, a third of which are new. Aging lasts several months with mandatory batonnage during the first four months.
