Interesting Facts
This is the so-called "Lenny Kravitz tequila". The musician is the face of sotol, produced in collaboration with the famous distillery Casa Lumbre and Pernod Ricard. Nocheluna Sotol is made from the Dasylirion plant, related to the Mexican agave. It is collected manually, only plants aged 12-15 years are collected. Then they are baked in an earthen Tahona oven. The tubers are cut into small pieces, ground in a mechanical press and fermented for 5-10 days. Double distillation takes place in copper stills over an open fire.
