Interesting Facts

Tyrrhenus, the charismatic, proud and fearless prince of the “Tyrrhenians”, led his people to central Italy, founding the Etruscan civilization and bringing with him the culture of wine. The prince’s personality served as inspiration for the creation of Tirrenico, which comes from vineyards overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea and being swept by its breezes. The grapes are hand-picked from vines growing in sandy soils in the Commune of Grosseto. The maceration period is 20 days. After fermentation, the wine is aged for 14 months in French oak barrels (225 liters).
