Interesting Facts

The Pinot Noir grapes are hand-harvested from the Le Vigron Premier Cru vineyard. The vines are planted on soils composed of brown limestone, clay, and marl, with an east/southeast exposure. The grapes undergo full destemming. Fermentation takes place in concrete tanks and oak vats, with maceration lasting two to three weeks. The wine is aged in Allier oak barrels (20% new oak) for 12 months, followed by an additional six months of aging in stainless steel tanks prior to bottling.
