Interesting Facts
The first vintage of this wine was released back in 1983 from grapes grown from Italian Merlot clones. The vineyards are located in the Polkadraai Hills, at an altitude of 180 meters above sea level. Wine fermentation lasts about 12 days at a temperature of 25°C with constant pumping. The wine is aged in large oak foudres with a volume of 4400 and 11000 liters for 7 months, as well as an additional 8 months in concrete.
