Interesting Facts
Moschofilero grapes are harvested from a separate vineyard located at an altitude of 750 meters above sea level in the hilly region of Perpatiara. The peculiarity of the production is that the fermentation takes place in three different containers. One third is fermented in steel, one third in clay amphoras, and the last one is vinified in large oak vats (foudres). The wine undergoes additional aging on the lees for 4 months.
