Interesting Facts
The La Foule line is named after the popular song performed by Edith Piaf. To create this special cuvée, the winemakers selected vineyards located in the western part of the Pays d'Oc wine region, near the Pyrenees Mountains. Here, the vines are located on limestone slopes, which are affected by refreshing breezes and warm sunshine, which creates one of the longest growing seasons in Languedoc. After harvest, the grapes are sorted and de-stemmed. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature of 26-28 °C in stainless steel tanks. A small percentage of the wine undergoes a short aging in French oak barrels.
