Interesting Facts
The Syrah grapes are grown in the Sevastopol wine-growing region. Hand-harvested in small 10-kg crates at the end of September, the grapes are fermented with wild yeast at 25°C (77°F) for 15 days. Maceration on the skins lasts 25 days. Aging in 225-liter French oak barrels lasts for eight months.
