Yaiyla
YAIYLA is a successful and growing winemaking project in Sevastopol, celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2023. Its creator, visionary, and chief winemaker is Vitaly Marinchuk. "Yayla" is a word of Turkic origin, meaning a high-mountain pasture or a flat plateau on a mountaintop. The picturesque Crimean yaylas became the geographical and terroir basis for the project's winemaking processes.
YAIYLA is, first and foremost, a signature winemaking project. Vitaly Marinchuk personally develops the recipe and production technology for all wines, personally creates blends, and oversees every process—from grape to bottle. It's no coincidence that each label bears the author's signature—his signature guarantees the quality of every glass of wine.
YAIYLA embodies creativity in every winemaking process. It's rare to find a winery that experiments so extensively and employs such innovative technologies. YAIYLA produced the first still wine in Russia from the Pinot Meunier grape, the first to produce orange and rosé wines from the Kokur grape, and the first and only wine aged in bourbon barrels in Russia.
