Interesting Facts
Tria Corda is a classic Bordeaux style wine. The name translates from Latin as "three hearts", paying homage to the key red varieties of Bordeaux. The vineyards are located in Stellenbosch Kloof, the age of the vines is about 30 years. Each variety is fermented separately for 9 days. The wine is aged in oak barriques (225 liters) for 18 months. For aging, new barrels (80%) and second-fill barrels (20%) are used.
