Ferragu

When the grapes leave the vine, Carlo and his brothers Ornello and Angelo go to create at the winery. The brothers are supported by sons and grandchildren: Milena, Nikola and Alessia.

Ferrago is a farm that combines the traditions, equipment and tools of the past, housed in an ancient building of Romanesque origin with solid stone walls, with the most modern machines and technologies.

Tradition and modernity. Old and new. The sounds of the past help to recreate the perfection of an intense and impenetrable ruby red color, with a sublime and enchanting aroma and surprising taste.

The vineyards of the economy cover an area of 8 hectares and about one hectare of land is planted with olive trees. The winery is divided into two floors: the upper part, the newest and most modern, contains the necessary equipment to work at every stage of the transformation of must into wine; the second part is the oldest, with solid walls and old wooden doors, which carefully guard the wine barrels in the farm cellar from prying eyes. Here Amarone and Valpolicella Ferragu develop and improve, "resting" for many months.
