Vina Sena

In Spanish, the word "seña" is rich in meaning, meaning a distinctive mark or personal signature. Viña Seña Winery, founded in 1995, is a distinctive mark of Chile, producing unique wines that have become icons of Chilean winemaking. During his first visit to Chile in 1990, Robert Mondavi recognized the great potential of the Chilean terroir for producing fine wines. During his visit, he met Eduardo Chadwick, whose Vina Errazuriz winery, founded in 1870, has been producing quality Chilean wines for over a century. They discovered a shared passion for wine and shared a philosophy of striving for excellence in winemaking. Thus, they formed a partnership that resulted in the production of a world-class wine called "Senya."

The Vina Sena vineyards cover 350 hectares and are located 41 km from the Pacific Ocean in the Aconcagua Valley. The vineyards are planted on hills with a northeasterly exposure at an altitude of 290-500 meters. The soils are well-drained, consisting of gravel, rock, and loam.
