Porta Nigra is an ancient gate that is considered the calling card of the German city of Trier. There is an observation deck on the gate, from which visiting tourists can see the main streets and sights of the city. The wine is produced using the traditional (champagne) method with secondary fermentation in the bottle and aging on yeast sediment for at least 9 months.
