Interesting Facts
The blend of the wine includes Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc grapes grown on the southern slopes of Saint-Laurent-des-Combes. The average age of the vines is about 35 years. The harvest is hand-picked and carefully sorted twice: in the vineyard and in the winery. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature in concrete tanks for about 30 days without the addition of sulfur, a minimum dose is added only at the end of aging. Malolactic fermentation takes place in barrels, some of which are new, but no more than 30%. Then the wine is aged in them for 15-18 months.
