Interesting Facts

The main variety in the Altazor blend is Cabernet Sauvignon, harvested in the Pirque vineyard in Alto Maipo. The grapes undergo a double selection. Maceration takes place in stainless steel vats for 8-10 days. Fermentation lasts about 40 days. Each variety is aged separately, in 225-liter French oak barrels (25% new) for 16 months. After bottling, the wine undergoes an additional aging in bottles for one and a half years.
