The wine is yellow-golden in color.
Taste:
The taste is powerful, full-bodied, with bright iodine tones and noticeable tannins.
Aroma:
Aroma with tones of candied citrus, dried fruits (almonds, hazelnuts), honeysuckle, celery, tea, toast, fir or acacia honey; bouquet of dried almonds, honey, pear, kirsch, fennel.
Gastronomy:
Asparagus, fish and seafood, poultry, veal, rabbit, mature cheeses, foie gras, duck, chicken liver with anise.
Interesting Facts
The wine is produced by co-vinification of two white grape varieties: 1/3 Savagnin (yield from 15 to 25 hl/ha) and 2/3 Chardonnay (yield 30-40 hl/ha). Fermentation and malolactic fermentation take place in steel vats. The wine is aged in old barrels (volume from 20 to 60 hl) for 3-4 years.
