Interesting Facts
The grapes for Pitos Rosso are harvested from old vines, up to 30 years old, growing in the southeast of Sicily, at an altitude of 250 meters above sea level. Fermentation takes place in clay amphoras, after which the wine is aged for 12 months in the cellars of the economy. The wine has a long storage potential of 9-12 years.
